Charger type for electrolysis

OK folks, so I want to try electrolysis and need some advice. I went to Walmart and looked at chargers, and all the ones they have say "fully automatic". Are these completely useless for an electro tank, or just not optimal? Will they work at all? Or is this where the charger thinks the tank is a fully charged battery, and shuts itself off?

I do have an auto parts store in town that I haven't checked yet for a manual charger.

After using vinegar to de-rust the nooks and crannies of a corn stick pan and a muffin pan, I think I really need to try electro. ;)

Purchased my Diehard manual charger on sale at k mart sometime back. Also available at Sears. Goes up to 10 amps. You are correct on the automatic. I have used an automatic but had to go thru a battery.
