Hi guys , bought this piece for 5 bucks , it appear to me to be from 1940's lodge, look like a chicken fryer , but not sure if that is what they call it, , it has one notch , heat ring , number 8 , k on the lip of the Dutch over or skillet , a g on the lid , look at the lid also in great shape. ,
Any comments

I'd call it a chicken fryer, especially with that lid! Good find.

Single notch Lodge from the 1930's. I really like those old pans.

I'd say that for $5, you all but stole that. Well done! Now some elbow grease and seasoning, and you'll have a fantastic user.
