Howdy All;

New to the forum, checked in at the top of the Index page.

Biggest question is about re-calculating recipes for smaller DO.
I have a 2 qt. Lodge #8 and most all of the recipes are for #12's.
What fraction has worked for you experienced folks out there?
What about those mixes in-a-box things, how do ya divvy those
things up?

As mentioned in the Intro thread, I live in my RV so storage is at
a minimum and clean-up when flour and such gets on the rug and
furniture becomes a pain ...

So, looking for your ideas and suggestions.

Thanks for havin' me.

Welcome to the iron addiction. A dutch oven is a genius move on your part given your living situation. You can use that D.O. for cooking almost anything thus eliminating the need for several different pots and pans. As far as the recipe scale backs go, I would be tempted to try to half them first. then, (I know space is limited) you would have the other half of the ingredients for next time.

Greg, Howdy;

Thanks for the suggestion and sorry for not checking back sooner.

For now it looks like I'll be doing more then a few "Pot Pies" and
Shepard's pies. Not sure my Cardiologist will approve. :chuckle:
