Default Grabbed Brass Brush Instead of Stainless...

... and hit a couple of spots on a piece.

Is there a way to reverse the resulting shiny spots?

Try: Going over it again with a stainless steel scrubber or brush. Electrolysis, if you are set up. SCO will also reportedly remove it (no bail handles, tho).

Bill, I accidentally did the same thing a few years back. If you hit it lightly Doug's recommendations should work fine. Unfortunately if you got any in small grooves or pits I have found it very difficult if not impossible to remove.

Best of luck

Doug, I will give a try. Good news is that it on the bottom, and it is a user pan.

M_Osborne, thanks for encouragement, and commiserating with me.
