Never Seen One in the Wild

Today at the Flea Market saw something I have only seen in books and on the internet.....A Erie Spider pan #8. It had slight pitting on the bottom but the cooking surface was good and the pan was flat. I had to ask the price and was told$500. We talked for awhile and I told him he should be able to sell it but maybe not at a flea market for that price. By the time I did my lap of the grounds he had already packed his van and was gone. The day was not a complete waste... a Griswold LBL #7 for $25

there was one on ebay a few weeks ago... pretty rough... pitting on the bottom and wear on the spider-part... I think it sold for close to $3k. I've seen two of them sell in the past two or three years... and both were in the $2k to $2.3k

Ah regrets, lol, I know I should have bought it and then flipped it for a profit. But as I only had $100 in walking around money and the bank machine will only let me take $200 out in a 24 hour period *sigh*
