Nevada Day Trip

Took a one day trip to Nevada and stopped at several swap meets on the way. Not a whole lot of goodies but some good quality pieces for a grand total of $80. Stuck these guys in the lye this morning so it will be a few days before they will be ready for seasoning.
The Griswold #8 pan was $20, the Griswold W.I. was $40, the unmarked WW pan was $10 and the Volrath D.O. was $10.

Not the expected Vollrath style bail attachments. Can't see a number in the pic.

Should have taken a close up of the DO. Has the number 8 with a line underneath the 8. Didn't research it 100% but just looking in the RB top of page 246 it has a similar style as the silver gray polished cast iron ware. Kind of strange that they referred to them as "bakers". Will have to examine it more closely once I take it out to clean it. Thanks for the info.

Going thru photo archive I am also reminded Vollrath DOs have heat rings, and the marking is like "No. 8".

Couldn't help but double checking the bottom mark. Here's a pic of the only ID that it has.
Have no doubts regarding your assumption but since Vollrath customarily uses an underline on their markings I assumed it was theirs. So. With that being said do you have any idea as to the maker? The more I look at it I'm thinking a Wagner but there again just a wild guess. Never stop learning about these pieces of CI....

I've seen this pot advertised as unmarked Wagner paired with a lid that's apparently unmarked Wagner. Probably not going to find evidence to the contrary. Vollrath's mark can also be a number between two dashes.

Thanks. Didn't mean to mislead anyone. I'm sure I can recover the $10 I paid for it. Got plenty of WW Dutch Oven lids so no issue with that aspect.
