Default Griswold Fruit and Lard Press

went to another auction last weekend... there was something specific I was interested in but ended up with this because it wasn't going very high in the bidding and looked to be mostly complete... seems to be missing the outer tin piece that usually has the griswold logo embossed in it... but I'm thinking of just having a plain tin one made to fit... just so its usable.

Does anyone know anything about these? This one is a #6 or 6 quart... fairly large compared to the others griswold made.
