Help with Dutch Oven ID

Need some help with ID'ing this dutch oven I purchased at a local thrift store. The only marks on it, is an 8 under the lid and an 8 on the bottom. It is a lot lighter and thinner than the other dutch ovens I own.

I'm just trying an easier way to upload the pictures.. This seems much easier...

As we always say, close-ups of parts don't really help ID. Need a photo of the entire bottom of the pot and the entire bottom of the lid.

More closeups do not help. Still cannot see the entire bottom of the pot nor the entire bottom of the lid in a single photo each. Also please get bail attachments and assist tab in frame.

Appears to be early Wagner by its characteristics. Why not marked cannot say for sure. There appear to be unmarked early Wagner skillets, so... The lid shape is what's called a "turtle top" design, consistent with early Wagner, although the ones before the zig-zag basting rings are seen with sparse dimples sort of like BSR but far fewer. The knob handle is also consistent with that era Wagner DO lids. The double concavity under the assist tab is also Wagner-like.

Thanks Doug for all that info...

I was thrown way off by the knob on the lid. I still can't find any pictures of cast iron lids like that lol.

Early Wagner? Would that be around 1930's ?
