"Antique" Store Finds

I stopped at an "antique" store just north of Carbondale, IL the other day. I put antique in quotes because although labeled that, everything inside was a new in box Chinese knock-off.

As far as iron, they had #8 sized "Griswold" Dutch Ovens, "Griswold" 1/2 quart sauce pans, unmarked tea kettles, and really bad "Wapac" waffle irons. There was one example of each for display and the rest were still in the box. All the pieces seemed to be painted, not seasoned except for the WI which was bare. The bad part was that the prices were comparable to actual antiques.

Here is a picture of the bottom of the DO. The logo is actually raised, not recessed:

I have seen many fakes but have not come across this one before. It is also strange to see a faked dutch oven given the complexity of casting and lower values associated with common dutch ovens.

Regardless this is a weird one.
