What belongs one this skillet when it comes to ERIE artifacts? Are the 710G and the number 9 correct?

The stamp with 4 numbers is Enterprise Foundry out of New Brunswick...

I think the only thing that belongs is the "ERIE". 710G and the number 9 font look big and not in the right spot. never seen the stamp with 4 numbers.

710 is the correct p/n for a Griswold #9 skillet. This is someone's recast using a 5th series Erie. The 1789 is a plate added on to the skillet pattern.

Yep, it's a recast by Enterprise. What would the end date be on a 5th series just so I have a ballpark on dating this particular piece...

I've often wondered why companies didn't bother to at least attempt to clean a pattern before use.
