Wagner Magnalite Cleaning

Hello again! I have a Wagner Magnalite aluminum pan with a few black areas on the bottom, guessing from stove heat and some light browning marks on the inside of the walls probably from stuck food. I am assuming sanding? Thanks in advance for your help!

If you can find it, I'd try Dawn Power Dissolver first. I've used sandpaper in gradual steps on pieces that just wouldn't clean up otherwise as outlined here:
