#8 Skillet - ID Help

Hi, fairly new collector here... picked up a #8 skillet and could use some help with ID'ing the maker and a rough time period. It appears to have "JP" on the underside of the handle and "8 V" on the bottom. Other than that, i can't find any additional marking. Thanks in advance for any help!!

The style of the 8V marking and the small pour spouts place it in Birmingham Stove & Range Co's early automation period, early 1950s. The JP mark would not have been something a factory-produced pan would have had. Either it was engraved there by a previous owner, or the pan is an unusually well-made recast of a BSR pan (doubtful) and the mark was added by whomever made it.
