Was it a skillet or a spider? Did it look like the legs had been cut off?

They wanted $69 for it. However, I am in MT, and decent cast here is relatively scarce - it brings prices that most in the country would balk at. There were no marks on the bottom - unfortunately I did not snap a pic, but no sign of removed legs that I could see/note.

To me, this isn't the kind of piece you want to pay a premium, antique store price for. It's one you want to find in a rusty pile, pay $5 or $10, and restore it yourself.

It looks like Martin stove I have 2 like that and both came with exact same lid,I was luck I paid $25dlls for one and 2 weeks later I found the second one more expensive $40 dlls,no body wants to buy those because the legs,(Hard to remove them)so I'm doing a favor to those people,I buy those so they don't have to worry how to remove the legs.lol
