1892 Wagner Sidney Pancake Maker

Question, I have been watching a 1892 Wagner Sidney floral pattern pancake maker for a couple of months now and have been wanting it in the worst way. My problem is that the seller is asking 89 for it and its missing the wooden handles. I have a friend who is an expert in turning custom pieces on a wood lathe. Hes been doing it for decades now and he would make beautiful handles for it for me. The item seems to be otherwise there in full. Ive seen only a couple sell online for 100 dollars. What would a decent price be for this item? Sorry I dont have pics currently. I can get some though.

Sounds like you're describing a wafer iron, waffle iron, krumkake maker or pizzelle maker and not a griddle for making pancakes.

Wafer iron would make sense since ive always thought that they would be really thin pancakes! Lol!
