Hi, all this my first post.
We were cleaning out my parents barn and I found this. I am hoping one or some of you can give me little information about this piece.

It's called a soup digester, kind of like a pressure cooker. Someone asked about one before , but never posted photos. If you search digester, there is a thread with one from another maker.
 
Since it says galls it's European from across the pond so 2 galls (imperial gallon) about 2.4 us gallons. Very cool piece. Be pretty neat to see it work

The 'A Kenrick' kind of gave that away... there is some info about Archibald Kenrick and sons on the web... a pretty prolific maker of cast iron in west bromwich... and still in business... just not hollow ware...
