Skillet ID help

So on my travels over the holidays I stumbled upon this rusty and dusty skillet that I think I got for a steal at $4. I'm hoping it's an old Erie but hard to tell with all the seasoning still on it. Any thoughts?

It was a steal no matter who the maker is, well maybe you got taken if it's from China but I don't think so with all that history on it. The thrill of the hunt is very alluring when it's in this shape as anything is possible. Great find Rob!
 
Even I, Mr. pro-old seasoning and carbon buildup, declare this skillet covered in crud and badly in need of cleaning.

Yeah- it's starting to look more like it could be a vollrath. Will post after it's been in lye bath for a spell. Thanks all!
