My Collection

I've been hunting for 1935 -1959 Wagner Ware with c/n's. I found a couple more today so now I have 1050,1053,1055,1056,1058,1060,1061. My question is, is there a skillet higher than 1061? Did they make a 1054? And how rare is a 1052?

Smooth bottom era with c/n were made in 2-14 with 13 and 14 having inset heat ring. A 4 will be somewhat pricier than the others; the 2 a lot pricier and HTF. A 9, 11, and 13 will also take some time to find.

So, if the 13 and 14 have an inset heat ring can they be considered smooth bottom?

I think you might be mixing up inverted with inset. Inverted would be a good way to describe the ring on the bottom of a brand new Lodge. Inset as in the type of heat ring you'd see on a BSR or 3-notch Lodge.

They will be a satisfying set to both collect and use. I find them to be a good mix of fine casting and finish, and just enough but not too much heft.
