Avocado oil on steak?

BJs had a big bottle of avocado oil for $10, so I bought some yesterday, along with some sirloin steaks.

I usually prepare the steaks by covering them with olive oil and cracked pepper, then searing them on both sides, adding salt, garlic, rosemary and butter and broiling them.

I do have EVOO, but I was wondering if the avo oil might be better because of the higher smoke point. Has anyone else done this? Does it do anything to the flavor? Or am I overthinking it (a habit of mine)?

If it works for you and you like the result, go with it. I use peanut or refined grapeseed for things requiring a high heat sear (and therefore an oil with a high smoke point). If I thought my (food) seasoning would render moot whatever unique flavor a certain oil might bring to the table, I don't think I would spend any extra money on it.

Break off the horns, slap it on the grill, flip it over eat it.
Nothing like the flavor of a good piece of meat, by it self. No steak sauce, no oil please.
