I'm a relative newcomer to the world of CI collecting but have been cooking on two CI skillets for decades. In just a few months I have acquired over 40 pieces of CI and given away many to friends/family. My collecting strategy was "See it - buy it" without much thought involved. Lots of CI at auctions and estate sales in this area and reasonably priced. I use an electrolysis tank to clean the new pieces and most of them are in great shape after the cleaning. Collecting them is the easy part! Now I'm trying to identify the unmarked and unique (?) items in my collection. Sorry for the long-winded post - couldn't stop!!!

yeah, you get the CI fever, you get excited. Not a lot of people do, but for us that love/use it, it can get bad. Like some of my other hobbies--people look at you a little strange when you mention them. Okay, I'm who I am, I can live with it!:tongue:
