We've been collecting for a couple decades, Griswold, Wagner, and other odd pieces. Our parents all used cast iron, so we were raised with them. I still have mom's (Sunday fried chicken) Lodge 4-In-1 double skillet from the 1940s that is used often. We're always on the lookout for additional pieces to pick up. What we don't use, we sell.
We stumbled upon a discussion about ghost markings on a #12 Griswold with bail handle, X bottom, griddle. We also have one, but it doesn't match anything seen; no ghost marks. Looking forward to all the info available on the C.I.C. site.
We like to fish too, Jim. Roberta L
