Any ideas?

The bottom of the 8 has a +8+ barely visible on bottom. The 5 is fairly light and has a - on handle

The sideways orientation of what should be "- 8 -" plus the long rib on the underside of the handle would indicate Vollrath, although you don't see that many without heat rings. The other, most-- with a lack of certainty-- would tend to call unmarked Wagner, although it's not entirely clear if Wagner made unmarked pieces at the time a piece of this design would have been produced by them.

THey are both nice feeling pieces and very smooth. That's why I didn't instantly flip or trade them off.
