Old straight "Wagner" DO

Am I right to think this is late 1800s? Picked it up at a garage sale for around $15-$20 I think.

Most likely. That's the oldest style Wagner mark, and that style lid is certainly of that period.

My first Wagner purchase was a DO with a flat lid. The Wagner name was on the bottom and the marking FL were at 6:00 as I remember. The RB put it in the 1890's.

Does yours have the FL inscription?
 
Mine is marked Wagner, Sidney O. Below that at 6:00 is the number 10. In the center are the letters FL. I'll take pics if you wish
