Cleaned a Few Today

Nice 3 qt BS&R. Who made the small pot/DO with lid in front of the waffle iron?

I see someone wasn't hibernating in the winter. Your stove is about to get a workout.

It's actually a 2 Qt BSR Red Mountain with lid. Funny you pointed it out, because I have it in the oven right now getting seasoned. The little Dutch oven with lid is a Griswold Table Service dutch oven. This particular one doesn't have the Griswold logo, but does have the part numbers. The bottom is p/n 580 and the lid p/n 581.

Thanks! I don't see those type of items in Georgia. A lot of finds over the winter months. I'm going to hate to see your energy bills after all of that cleaning lol. Have you thought about doing some outside on a grill? At least it won't heat your house up.

I know some people do use their grills, but I'll probably just stick to the oven. I did have to buy a new oven 2 years ago, probably from day after day of seasoning cast iron, LOL. I'm ok with that because it's my hobby and I make a little money from reselling the ones I don't keep. Finding good iron anywhere is a lot of work. It's super competitive in my area. The majority of pieces I buy "in the wild". I do believe I am fortunate to live in an area near where a lot of the early foundries were. Keep on looking, the "hunt" is a big part of the fun.

Here is the 2 Qt. BSR Red Mountain sauce pot that I just took out of the oven, Interesting marking on the lid.

The 3 4 is common on the Red Mountain lid. I hadn't seen one that was at an angle before though.
