Is This a Wagner Wafer Griddle?

I picked this up today at a flea market also and I am not sure what to call it. It does say Wagner Sidney -O- in the top.

They should unscrew from the long woodscrews cast into the paddles. May take some kind of penetrating oil to loosen them. Or just keep the handles out of whatever cleaning method, and bake seasoning over a burner instead of the oven. Alternatively, just spray with cooking oil spray and use.

Great find. I also have one that I picked up at an antique sour that I frequent. What is the patent date on your wafer iron? Does it also have a part number on it?

That is the same as mine. I believe these were the first made by Wagner, at least with a patent number. I have yet to use mine as I need an event or a reason to make a lot of the wafers, since I haven't found a recipe small enough yet.

Christmas is coming, so I might make some for co-workers.
