ID Help Needed on This Enameled #5 Pot

I took pictures of this DO to ask y’all about it. Walked away. Left the store. Came back. Bought it.

I’m not even sure if it is that old. It has a gate mark, but it seems “too neat”. Not like the gate marks on some old pots I have. The bail handle seems new as well. Probably not the original bail?

Anyway, it’s a neat little pot. The enamel is in great shape. Raised number 5 on the bottom.

You are correct! Beautiful skillet! I searched the internetz for Vollrath enameled Cast Iron and found several pictures of one like mine. Unfortunately, now, my cast iron addiction now extends to Vollrath enameled cast Iron! Haha! It would be cool to have a matching set.

Nice Vollrath! This is not a DO, but a maslin kettle I was told they had lids, but I've never seen one myself. I have a small stack ranging from #5 like yours, up to a #20.
These were made from 1910-1920... they had an earlier version with enamel on the inside only.

Thanks, Jon! Since you have several, maybe you know ... does the lack of “Vollrath Ware” on the bottom mean this one is closer to 1910? Do the larger sizes have the logo and the smaller sizes don’t? Just curious. Love this little pot. Now I want more!
