I tried to merge your photos into the OP, and lost the whole thread. Looks good from what I can see, up to $50 IMO would be OK, but shipping is going to be the problem. Those things are heavy. Appears by the markings to be a later one.
 
What would make you happier, the griddle or money? That's what I always ask myself, would I be happier with this $50 dollars, or with this griswold long griddle? YOLO BRO!!!

But seriously, before you do anything, contact the seller and ask if the item is warped at all, any wobble on a flat surface would kill the deal for me.
 
I physically inspected the griddle and it is in good shape but I don't know if I would go to $50 for it. I like griddles with 5 in my collection, mostly Wagner. I would like a Griswold. This one is nice but it is really heavy!
