Has anyone heard of "Marion" CI?

I was shopping in an antique store today, and came across a #9 Marion skillet. I'd never heard of Marion before, so it piqued my interest. Sadly, the skillet was warped on the bottom, and way overpriced ($45), so i passed on it.

I did not have a camera handy! I will go back, and snap a pic if the skillet is still there. At $45, it most likely will still be there. :)

Had it not been warped, and overpriced, it looked like a great skillet! Very thin metal, lightweight, and had a nice "feel" (a very subjective measure).

Is anyone familiar with the Marion brand or foundry?

Thank you Doug! It's too bad the skillet was not in better shape. Given the age of the company, $45 for a Marion skillet in good shape now seems like a bargain. :)
