I was shopping in an antique store today, and came across a #9 Marion skillet. I'd never heard of Marion before, so it piqued my interest. Sadly, the skillet was warped on the bottom, and way overpriced ($45), so i passed on it.
I did not have a camera handy! I will go back, and snap a pic if the skillet is still there. At $45, it most likely will still be there.
Had it not been warped, and overpriced, it looked like a great skillet! Very thin metal, lightweight, and had a nice "feel" (a very subjective measure).
Is anyone familiar with the Marion brand or foundry?
