The lack of pour spouts might be an issue, but I don't necessarily think it's a problem. Price isn't too outrageous either -- $100 for a modern, smoothly finished cast iron pan. The weight looks good too as it is roughly equivalent to a Griswold LBL.

Right now they only offer an 8-sized pan, but I hope they come out with a 10.

I doubt this bunch is their target demographic. But for those looking for nice piece of cast iron to cook with, this may just be the ticket. No dealing with pans of unknown provenance and their issues -- cleaning, warping, or corrosion. No worries about inadequate packaging of the item either.

It's nice seeing a modern company striving to meet the quality of the past.

I want to add that I really like the aesthetics of their logo.

Thanks for sharing this information with us Christian. It is so nice to see more genuine American CI being made. This product seems to be genuinely "high class", and I bet they will find a market--maybe not with we who love the old CI, but I'm sure there are folks out there who will appreciate the quality and fact that it is a new product with no reconditioning required.

I think this is great we have a few American companies trying to make vintage style pans. I know they are pretty high in price but I ordered a Stargazer pan. They will not replace my Wagners but its a good addition to my collection.
