Favorite Piqua nickel

I have been wanting one of the chrome looking skillets for a while but have never come across one that I thought would clean up well until now. I found a Favorite Piqua smiley logo 8 skillet that seems perfect. I didn't want the chrome on the inside surface and this one doesn't have it. It went into the lye today, came out for a sneak peak and went back in. I think this one is a treasure. It looks like the one posted in the Nickel slideshow except mine doesn't have the Miami logo. I will post pictures tomorrow.

I found a grooved handle Griswold at a yard sale today for 2$. I wanted to do the touchdown dance but I didn't. :grin:

Rick, I found the Nickel Piqua on ebay for $25. I have a Black Piqua smiley 7 and if this blue was a #6 I would be tempted to get it also.

Rick, I think it would be a cool Frankenset. I would have to find a red tiny pan like this one to complete the set.

That Nickel Piqua is awsome looking Bonnie.

Hi, Bonnie. I just got a look at this one! Wow! I didn't know the Piqua pans came in chrome or enamel finishes--I love the new stuff I learn here whenever I check the Forum. What fun!
