Need help to ID this one

So I purchased a #3 a few months ago and the guy I got it from said that he thought it was an unmarked Wagner or Vollrath. I've been reading the info here on the forum on unmarked pans and am leaning towards a Vollrath on this. Of course, it may be neither one. I just thought I'd get some opinion.

It's a good little skillet and I don't care what brand it is, to be honest. This is just more to satisfy curiosity.

Hopefully I linked the pics correctly. But, top-side it has the 3. Here's the key. Bottom is unmarked but just above the teardrop in the handle there is a small V. No heat ring to speak of. Appreciate any thoughts or input you guys may have.

If you could take a few more pictures of the handle where it meets the pan that'd probably help.

I have only ever seen either outside heat ring or smooth bottom Vollraths.

Doug, thanks. What is the deal with the V underside near the teardrop? Would that be considered a maker's mark or something?

Okay, gotcha. Thanks. Never would have known. I was actually thinking this was a Vollrath. Either way is fine, but I'm glad I got you guys in on this.
