Welcome to the site FM Eggers.
Nothing comes to mind by your description, a picture might help. |

Shawn, I hope to get some photos tomorrow. Thanks. From what I read on the forum, Photobucket should work, Correct?

Any hosting site that can make pics publicly available should work just fine.

There are lids with the same star that appear to go with these, and which look quite a bit like Lodge. They do not have the typical Lodge basting spikes, though. The bail attachment is not all that unique for this type of kettle, which I would date not-too-early to mid-20th century.

I know that Wagner made some stuff with a "star" stamp and if I remember correctly someone else did, too, but I don't know who that was or if it was ever identified who it was. No idea who made your kettle.
