Default Spiral Design on Griddle

Found a gate mark no. 8 griddle in parent's garage. While cleaning it up notice it has a spiral marking on the surface . I assume it was from part of the process os smoothing it out. I plan on using it as a daily because it is light weight and I like it's design. But wondering if the spiral marking adds or subtracts it's collectablity.

Wouldn't necessarily make a piece more or less collectible, but may increase it's value over another of the same that had been more well-used.
