Newbie here, I've bought some pieces as well as acquired my grandmother's skillets. I would appreciate some ID help. Here are some that are cleaned up.

These may be a little tougher, I haven't cleaned these up yet.

Is the Wagner heat damaged? If so, is it still usable?

Hard to tell on the Wagner, as different lighting can affect how fire damage looks. If it's scaly, possibly so.

The rest fall into the category of unmarked but well-known by collectors as to maker. Take a look at http://www.castironcollector.com/unmarked.php and see if you can determine from its listing of descriptions and photos who yours came from.

Thanks, using those guidelines, it looks like most of my grandmother's are BSR century series(50s & 60s), and the Wagners are 1935-59. Then one lodge 1940-87? Any way to narrow down the age on some of the ones with a wide date range?

The Lodge would be 1950s owing to lack of "Made In USA". I would say both your BSRs without it are 1950s, also. The Wagner, hard to say, except for the font on the c/n is like later in that date range.

The Lodge is from before 1960 because it lacks a MADE IN USA mark.

Thanks for for the input. I've caught the CI bug can't wait to get my pieces cleaned up and seasoned and get to using them. Also ready to go hunting for vintage treasures!
