I had the base and the other set of regular griswold paddles and found and cleaned up the Rev-o-noc paddles over the weekend... I thought it was interesting that they have the same griswold pattern numbers... also that the rev-o-noc has the 1908 patent date for the handle attachment design.

I have a Griswold made waffle iron that says 'Standard Gas Equipment Corp. New York' with paddle numbers 976/977 (same as 885/886) Patent Dec 1, 1908 using the 975 or 985 base.

Griswold evidently would make special runs with the company names.

Thought I had posted a previous thread regarding the Rev-O-Noc history but didn't find it in my previous post so here is the history of the HSB Co. that peddled the Rev-o-Noc brand with dates.
Griswold made a lot of special advertising pieces for a lot of different companies. For example: The #3 C.I. skillet which reads...Compliments "CLIFF" CORNELL The Cleveland Flux CO., Cleveland 13 Ohio. Can be found on p.24 of the BB, (a piece of which I was lucky enough to have found.)
Here's the link regarding Rev-o-Noc. http://www.thckk.org/history/hsb.pdf
