Question on Wagner anniversary CI

I know Wagner had an anniversary edition. Did they make any No-names. I just looked at a Square Skillet that goes up for auction.
The handle looks like the Wagner anniversay # 5 that I have.
The back just has;
SQUARE SKILLET
Made in USA.
Both inside and outside have the pebble finish like my # 5 and the newer Lodges.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

A thumbrest handle was used on some other pieces besides (and prior to) the "1891 Original" pans, but with a squared end. Sounds like you have a post-mid-1960s unmarked Wagner.

Not being a smooth finish would place it closer to the 80's, wouldn't it?
The early to mid-1960s was when "Made In USA" started appearing, and yes, polishing was still being done for some time after that. I don't think the 1891 pieces are polished, and they came out very late 1980s.

I remember, I think correctly, that the 1891 pans came both ground and unground. The last of the pans may have been unground but I also think that the remainder of the last pans were being ground to remove the rust left on the pans from two years in a closed Wagner foundry. American Culinary was "refinishing" the new but rusty skillets and a few still sitting in their molds on the line.
