Wagner with raised 8?

I picked this pan up from someone on Kijiji. I've been looking for a flat bottom skillet with a heat ring to use on my ceramic top stove.

The skillet was in very rough shape when I got it. Lots of built up crud. The "WAGNER SIDNEY" on the bottom is almost completely gone. There's quite a bit of pitting too. Looking online I can't seem to find much info on Wagner making pans with raised numbers on the bottom.

This is the only info on a skillet similar to this that I could find:

If anyone has any other info that'd be great!

Erosion is not the cause of the TM being indistinct, and the raised 8 is inconsistent with Wagner. Yours appears to be someone's recast copy of a Wagner #8.

Yes. Unfortunately, I think you're correct. I thought it was kind of strange that there were a few imperfections around the sides of it:

Oh well. It seems to be a very well done though. The cooking surface is quite smooth. Should still be great to cook with. Thanks!
