CI and the grill

I put CI skillets and griddles on my conventional gas grill all the time. Be careful with temperature (especially with infrared) . When grilling with CI I usually preheat my grill at medium instead of high, I don't preheat the CI cookware for very long or I preheat on the side burner or stove top. The first time I tried it I preheated the CI with the burner too high for to long and turned half my seasoning to ash. With the lid down I like to be between 450~525 with food on the iron.
