I recently picked this up as a "barn find' (which sadly, didn't mean it was inexpensive!). Have read numerous questions/answers about provenance of other 3 legged kettles, with responses that determining foundry is tough. However thought I'd post photos to see if anyone can recognize this. The top of the lid simply has "12 IN" and the inside of the lid "SE". The bottom of the pot has what I think is "12P1". Will know better after cleaning.
My real question though, is whether anyone is compiling data; size, marks etc of three legged kettles in order to try and catalog possible sources??
Thanks,
Jeff
