I recently purchased a WW S O square skillet model 1103 A that has pat. pending stamped just below the model and I can't find anything on the pat pending stamping. Probably nothing but wondered if anyone had some answers. I haven't seen that on any examples I've seen.

It's technically a bacon fryer skillet, originally supplied with a cast iron grid bacon press. Likely that feature is what the patent pending refers to. There is also a 1101 breakfast skillet that came with a press that only covered the half intended for the bacon. Oddly, the 1103 pan and 1103-A press are not listed in the Wagner catalog number listing in the RB or BB, but it is pictured pg. 236 of the BB.
