Sidney #10 Griddle

I got this back at the begining of July and forgot I had not shown it off. It was totally black and crusty! Could make out the Sidney on the back barely. The cook surfance is amazing. Not sure why seasoning pooled on the back. May have to try to clean that up.

it almost looks like there was a repair made to the mold or something in the pic of the bottom... between 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock...

Thanks for pointing that out! I went back and took a look at that area between 8:00-10:00 and noticed the same on the opposite side at 2:00-4:00. I believe that is a gate mark and it is wider on the rim on both sides of the griddle. There is machine grinding marks on both edges of the griddle.
They must have encountered issues that a surface that large couldn't be poored well from one gate.
