Spectacular Le Creuset Factory Photo Essay....

Thanks for sharing Charles. It is amazing to see how much hand crafting goes into large quantity production utensils -- I now understand the price level of these lovely enameled pieces! I have the great good fortune to have been gifted with a small skillet, and at my age that's about the biggest Le Creuset item I could actually handle. (I believe they charge for them per pound.:D)

Sharon ,

The only piece of Le Creuset C.I. that I own is a cobalt blue #16 saucepan with lid. The quality is very obvious. I also have two of their offshore stoneware offerings (a loaf dish and an oval ?au gratin dish).... both of good to very good quality (I think origin in Thailand, but stamped "France"). I have learned that only the C.I. is made in France. There are a couple of L.C. pieces I would like to own , but unless I win the lottery, hard to justify. I'll keep looking for prior owned pieces.
