Wagner 1058N

I cleaned it in the lye tank. I seasoned it in the Weber at 400 degrees F. I only oiled the inside BUT the smoke from the oil yellowed the nickle. If I do another "N" I will season on the stove top or inside in the oven. This skillet has the heat ring. It seams to be a higher quality casting very smooth and uniform inside.

Doug is the skillet nickle plated or some other finish. I have a plain 1058 seasoning and it is not plated, no heat ring.

Thanks Sean. I don't often buy plated pieces, but the cooking surface was to nice to pass this one up.

Doug, I guess mine would be a "Du Chro". Shiny sides and top of handle, everything else has a dull finish.

Could have been sold as chrome or DuChro. Old catalogs calls things chrome, but then describe them as what sounds like the definition of DuChro.
