I have a Griswold slant logo, EPU #12 741 bail handled griddle with cross bars on the bottom. Could anyone help me with the age and value? I would appreciate references to the source of any information provided as I want to learn for the future. Thanks.

I don't see what you're describing in either the "Red Book" or the "Blue Book" of Griswold items, where you may have already looked, although it's listed in the Pattern Number listings. Are the bars on the bottom in an X shape?

A picture would be helpful.

More knowledgeable people than I should have some answers for you...

Photos go a long way in us help you. That no one is waisting time going back and forth.

As to the value, search Ebay sold listings. That will give you a ball park.

I thought maybe. The bars are called an X reinforcement. All I can offer is that slant logo, reinforced griddles with handles were made 1909-1920s, according to the books. Pretty nice piece and I wonder if it's an uncommon one as well.

Clicking on that picture made my screen go black. Is it just my machine or did that happen to other folks?
