My First Chasseur.......

This will win no beauty pageants. I found this at an
estate sale today.... I gave $5.00. Yes, chips, scratches,
and loss of enamel at some base locations. But, the cooking
surface is immaculate. Some aficionados include Chasseur
in the neighborhood of Le Creuset and Staub. These are
still available retail for approx. $100. Not sure what I'll do
with this one... I do know they are not commonplace in
the desert Southwest.

I need to be around you sometime, you have amazing "luck" at finding your finds. Plus you use them!

Sean ,

They are out there....on this one the quality of the cooking service is
first rate...the enamel was once good, has seen better days, but,
has moved in to the keeper pile.

I will now add Chasseur to the enameled cast iron searches.
