Cast iron noob here. I've recently relocated to a rural part of the PNW and have found one of the more rewarding hobbies - aside from mushroom foraging and rockhounding - to be collecting old kitchen stuffs. I've picked up some old cast iron pieces that I like to use and have started to restore some of the pieces I've found. I enjoy cooking and baking in cast iron and have found the website and forums here to be a great resource!
