All I can say is........well, there are no words to describe what I just saw! Thats an amazing collection, in museum quality to boot. Im partial to the Inian Heas, the Dutch Oven is sweet......what size is the skillet? They are all basically pieces I have never even seen before......congratulations on a spectacular collection!

yeah, that list of 'rare pieces' is like a wish list for me... I've been buying and restoring cast iron for several years now and haven't even seen most of those in person let alone have an opportunity to buy any of them.

Thanks Sean. That Indian Head skillet is a #9. I have a #8 also. The #10 dutch oven, with fully marked lid and leveling nubs on the bottom is arguably the rarest piece I've ever had. Most, not all, of the pieces pictured were after I restored them.

I chase cast iron pretty hard, as I know you do, and sometimes the hard work pays off and sometimes you just get lucky. The "hunt" is a big part of the enjoyment for me.
