finished the DO bottom last night (with the wagner waffle iron), so I thought I'd take pics and post them both.

I've had the lid for a while and was looking for a DO bottom of somewhat appropriate age to go with the lid... this one was in pretty good shape, not warped or pitted, was relatively cheap and was being sold without a lid. It has the raised molder's mark under the helper handle so it's 1930's or so at the latest... Does anyone have more details to look for for dating either the bottom or the lid?
This one was also seasoned with grapeseed oil... went on easy and really seems to have transformed the color in just one coat... the cooking surface has a few small casting flaws, but otherwise is very smooth.

Don’t have any info but it turned out nice. I used avocado oil on a few DO recently and really like the results. Time will tell as I didn’t really care for avocado or flax on my skillets
