A Bit of CI Love, It's Beautiful and the Price Wasn't Any Issue...

I'll admit to not being up on my aebleskiver pans... but given the 'made in usa' on this one... is this a wagner made pan from after 1957 that they put the griswold name on?
 
I'd defer to some experts here, as I have no idea - that said, I'm happy to own it and will find creative uses for it!:whip2:
 
More likely Wagner added the "Made In USA" but left alone the Griswold name and pattern number on the pattern they acquired.

From my research, it looks like Silverlite was made starting in 1934, but I'm unsure when they stopped making it. I'll be making some cornbread in this pretty soon! :icon_thumbsup:
 
Wagner was still marketing an aebelskiver into the early 1980s. Its handle was the same as yours, but no clue if they changed the markings at some point.

Silverlite seems to have been discontinued early 1940s, most likely due to WWII.
