Default Help Identifying This DO

Does anybody have any idea who made this?
12” wide
5” deep
The bail handle does look correct either.

Thanks.

Can't tell if there's a marking on the bottom or not. Whatever it is, it's heat damaged.

Thanks Doug. I didn’t see any markings on the bottom either.
I’ve never dealt with a heat damaged pan. What are the consequences? Will it season up as normal? Is it still usable? Is it more brittle?
Thanks.

The surface becomes scaly. Getting seasoning to stick is troublesome to impossible.

Here it is after a vinegar bath and a little steel wool scrubbing.

Here it is after seasoning. It turned a little “copper” in color, but I think it turned out pretty good. Doesn’t appear to be scaly.
