I have a few cool pieces of cast iron and always look for more when thrifting. Yesterday I found my first gate marked pan? It's pretty badly pitted but it looks like it has a heart and a number and possibly initials on the back. I have not cleaned it yet. I ordinarily clean in my self cleaning oven but I just,read on your page that it's not recommended. I am having trouble uploading pic from my phone. I will try to post and edit in pix asap. :/
